23 April, birthday of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

One of the questions I usually answer every year regarding Shakespeare Festival is: 'Why do we always go back to Shakespeare in theatre?' Because today, on Shakespeare's 456th birthday, he seems even younger to us than before (we are a bit older, at least a year). He seems younger because Hamlet, Othello, Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Julius Caesar, Richard III, Lear, Ophelia, Juliet ... are constantly around us, they all just need to be seen and recognized.

Dear Shakespeare friends, happy birthday to us and welcome to the 7th Shakespeare Festival!
